Mental Fitness Training
Mental Fitness refers to the state of one’s psychological well being and and the capacity to effectively cope with life’s challenges, stressors and emotional demands. Mental Fitness represents your ability to use your cognitive and emotional resources to handle the challenges of daily life. When you are mentally fit, you use your mental abilities to the fullest. Mental fitness enhances your creativity and your ability to manage stress. Stress is an unavoidable part of life. While you can’t eliminate it, you can manage it and lessen its impact on your well-being and overall level of happiness. This is where Mental Fitness Training comes in.
By investing in Mental Fitness Training, individuals can significantly improve their ability to handle life's challenges, maintain mental balance, and achieve greater success and fulfillment in various aspects of life. It is a proactive approach to nurture mental health, promote personal growth, and unlock the potential for a happier and more fulfilling life journey.
The Positive Intelliegence® Mental Fitness Training Program is based on breakthrough, original research by Shirzad Chamine and the synthesis of recent discoveries across neuroscience, positive psychology, cognitive behavioural psychology, and performance science.

Build Powerful Habits for a Positive Mind
Most attempts at positive change fail because we stop at insights and don’t build new habits that will serve us well. Sustained change towards a more positive mind requires laying down neural pathways to form new habits through consistent daily practice. That is what the Positive Intelligence® Mental Fitness Training Program design empowers you to do. This program is designed to help you train your focus and create custom stress reducing strategies that work for you.
Just as we exercise to stay physically fit, it is important to give our minds a workout too. Just like lifting weights sculpt our muscles, engaging in mental fitness work sculpts our mind. You will be training your brain.
The Positive Intelligence® Mental Fitness Training Program is designed as a 6 week bootcamp.
Your commitment involves:
Each week, listen to a one-hour video led by Shrizad Charmine, researcher and author of the book, “Positive Intelligence”. You gain access to the video on Friday after midnight. Complete the video by Monday evening. The video is broken down into small segments to fit your lifestyle.
Tuesday through Friday- through the app you will spend approximately 2 minutes listening to a "challenge" 5 times a day (average of 15 minutes over the course of the day).
Every day- you will practice PQ® reps throughout the day. (PQ® reps are 10 seconds in length and they are practice for training your focus. Aim to do a minimum of 40 PQ® reps throughout the day.)
Once a week on Monday or Tuesday participate in a 30 minute coaching session. (Group & individual coaching session options are available.)
For deeper learning, read or listen to the book "Positive Intelligence" by Shrizad Charmine.
Optional but helpful: Engage in the Community on the App.
The Program includes:

6 week Foundation
You build a foundation of mental fitness by strengthening three critical mental muscles to shift the balance of power from your inner Saboteurs (your negative self) to your inner Sage (your positive self).
Week 1: Self Command Muscle
Through a breakthrough process called PQ® Reps, you boost your self command muscle. Each PQ® Rep only takes 10 seconds and can be done with your eyes open or closed. When you perform PQ® Reps, you are training your brain to focus on command. With each PQ® Rep, you develop greater mastery over your mind, quiet the negative, and activate the positive region of your brain.
Week 2 - 3: Saboteur Inceptor Muscle
You learn to identify and intercept your top Saboteurs the moment they try to hijack your thoughts, feelings, and actions. In preparation for this practice, you get to expose the lies, limiting beliefs, and damage of your Saboteurs, so they can no longer fool you into thinking they are helpful to you.
Week 4 - 6: Sage Muscle
You practice the Sage Perspective that every problem or challenge can be converted into a gift or opportunity. You learn to generate gifts through the 5 Sage powers of empathize, explore, innovate, navigate, and activate.
10 Types of Internal Saboteurs
Imagine yourself able to remain calm, clear headed, and positive even in the midst of handling work and life’s greatest challenges. What becomes possible for you, in achievement, in peace of mind and wellness, and in your relationships? Make a commitment now to boost your mental fitness. Let's train your brain!

Mental health and mental fitness are related but distinct concepts. Mental health refers to a person's overall psychological and emotional wellbeing. It includes their ability to cope with stress, manage their emotions, and maintain healthy relationships. In the mental health field, qualified healthcare professionals focus on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. On the other hand, mental fitness refers to a person’s ability to use their cognitive and emotional resources to handle the challenges of daily life. It is similar to physical fitness, which is the ability to use one's physical resources to perform physical tasks. Mental fitness describes the ability to thrive and be resilient in the face of adversity.
-
Mental fitness coaches help individuals or groups to build and maintain mental strength and resilience, but they do not provide medical advice or services. Instead, mental fitness involves practices such as mindfulness, meditation, positive thinking, and self-reflection to help people improve their mental wellbeing.

If you experience self-doubt, struggle to focus, lack resilience, face relationship conflicts, feel prone to burnout, have communication breakdowns, get derailed by mistakes, or find it hard to manage stress and anxiety, Mental Fitness Training could be beneficial for you.

You’d be committing to watching a 1-hour video once per week and doing a combined total of 15 minutes per day of practice guided by the Positive Intelligence app exclusively designed for this program. PQ® Reps are done in ten second intervals and can be incorporated into any activity.
This might sound like a lot of time. In fact, cumulatively, it constitutes less than 2% of your awake time for the duration of the program. Please consider that your Saboteurs are costing you far more than 2% of your time, effort, energy, and productivity. Consider how much more than 2% of time and productivity this six-weeks investment will save for years to come.
